Sydney: Keskiviikko

WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, we took the ferry to the city. We sailed under the Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House and we were all happy. We saw the Harbour Bridge, lots of boats, people and buildings.

After that, we sailed across the Sydney Harbour to the zoo. We walked around the zoo and we saw lots of different animals from all over the world, like monkeys, elephants, giraffes, gorillas, hippos, snakes, koalas, kangaroos, goats, turtles and penguins. We also saw beautiful rainforest and lots of school children. It was our first time seeing different animals.

We had lunch in the restaurant at the zoo and afterwards we all went down to the seal show. It was a great and really interesting show! We have never seen a show like that before. The seals are very clever animals. They can do flips, jumps and hand stands. They also waved at us. We enjoyed the show!

Eläintarhastasta mulla ei ole oikein mitään lisättävää. Eläintarhat nyt on aika samanlaisia kaikkialla. Se mainittakoon, että yksi meidän tädeistä oli kovin pettynyt, että siellä ei ollut dinosauruksia. Ja hän oli ihan tosissaan. 

After the zoo, we had a good dinner and a little walk down to the Matilda show. There were lots of people waiting to get in to the theatre.

We liked watching all the action in the Matilda show. It was our first time in a theatre. We were interested in the show. We liked the show because there was lots of action and we thought they were all good actors. The show was funny and very interesting.

We were all very tired after the long day.

Illalla me käytiin teatterissa katsomassa Matila the Musical. Mä luulen, että aika pitkään osa meidän apuopeista taisi luulla, että me mennään tapaamaan Matildaa. Me oltiin luettu kirjaa, katsottu leffa ja mä on monen monta kertaa selittänyt, mikä on teatteri ja mitä siellä tapahtuu. Kerroin, että se on vähän kuin elokuvaa katselisi, mutta ihmiset näyttämöllä ovat oikeitä, eläviä ihmisiä.

Me meinattiin missata koko show, sillä osa meidän porukasta ajatteli käydä shoppailemassa läheisessä ostoskeskuksessa vartti ennen näytöstä. Mä sitten juoksen siellä etsien meidän porukkaa. Onneksi ne erottaa massasta helposti. Osa tuntui pitävän teatterista kovasti. Osa nukkui.
